Shipment of Type 4 Cylinders Under Pressure

Effective December 1, 2025, all Luxfer Type 4 CNG and Hydrogen products will be shipped with approximately 20 PSI of internal pressure. This internal pressure must be maintained while the cylinder is stored prior to installation. Failure to maintain the internal pressure may void any manufacturer’s warranty. Cylinders will be filled with either compressed air or nitrogen, depending on the specific application.
